A Longer Reflection

Responsible tourism is strongest when it is not designed for communities, but with them — when visitors encounter people, place, and culture through relationships rather than transactions.

This belief runs through the field work behind CMD Inspired — in Rwanda, in the Balkans, in Norway's Nordland region, and in the many places where tourism development has meant sitting with people long enough to understand what they actually need.
